Aquatronic Controllers, are you struggling too? (or is it just me)

I purchased a used system including a used Aquatronica Controller, power unit, and several modules/adaptors.

I find the instructions and interface to be a bit confusing, but perhaps I'm just not as patient as I should be. Are others out there happy with their Aquatronic setups? Do you have any suggestions for getting off the ground. Yes, I have the manual, but I seem to trip up on a step every time, and now I've almost given up. Thanks for any feedback you can offer!

hey chercm - i assume you have run the aquatronica yourself? in what ways did it not work for you? specific issues would be far more helpful.

Actually, I liked mine quite a bit. Still have it running a second setup that is about to come down. Rubbish is a bit harsh....

The old US support vendor (Now Bankrupt, actually in Canada) was my biggest source of frustration....

Honestly, the programming through the display isn't always the easiest to interpret; I used the PC module, and it was fairly easy. It never failed, hicupped, burped, looked at me funny. It's a good system; and all (Like the Neptune I have on my other tank) have their idiosyncracies.

I'm actually on the fence as to if I want to sell the AQT or the Neptune whan I take tank number two down.

What are you trying to program? Perhaps I can help, and/or there is a forum on here for support as well..

oldimpala, thank you for your thoughts. I just might reach out to you in future for some of your thoughts and experiences. Although some bugs, sounds like the AQT works fine, and I confess that patience is my weakness! I'm not yet set up running just yet, but once I do, I'll be back online with fresh round of questions. Thanks to other responders as well.

I have the Aquatronica and love it. I also have the Neptune ACjr and like that also. I have had the reef keeper in the past and had a hard time programing and understanding it.
