Robby since you have a direct contact with AQT please ask them when can i get the pH problem fixed. It's either taking too long to hear from them or I am too impatient. Or both :D

4th!

And I swear, I keep wanting to upgrade this damn thing. Just finished getting the 2nd PH and the ORP probe installed last night. Now I need to buy another temp/level interface and more level sensors.

There are just so many cool little things I keep thinking of.

I'd love to be a tester.

I'm actually planning on doing one of those cool FW planted tanks, and will probably have the AQT control both tanks. Controlling co2 is a pretty big deal in those.

I volunteer for the Beta test. I travel a lot and NEED to monitor my tank remotely...

So will they comne out with a USB webcam that can plug into the powerbar and use the AQT's webserver... I'd be in heaven...

You mean like this one

You mean like this one

Here is my controller (still in progress) which has a webcam and powerbar. It controls 8 outputs and will soon have 4 discrete sensors. I have feed button, network time updates, e-mail capability, etc. I have had it up and running for about 9 months.

Let me know what you think.

Looks great !

But you better check the windows... looks like there is a snowstorm in your tankroom :strooper:

Its likely that the webserver is getting many hits, so you may just have to retry a few times. The server isn't designed for heavy traffic loads. It does work in safari, although not as well as in internet explorer. The coolest part is that it is made up of networked pieces. I have a cheap (hence the not so great image) D-Link ethernet webcam, an Ethernet power reboot server (for server rooms) and an ethernet enabled microcontroller. I have security enabled on the configuration screens, so you can't really see all of the functionality. It automatically syncs the clock twice a day, it has periodic (for wavemakers) and timed output control and it can e-mail based on alarm conditions to up 3 different e-mail addresses. The project I am working on now is to get the software written and boards built to measure and control outputs based on the sensor values (high and low setpoints). I will also have a history that shows the values of the sensors as specified sample periods. I plan to enable ethernet upgrades and tftp configuration and data downloads. I do this in my free time and get burned out sometimes, so it has been an ongoing project for a couple of years now. It is turning out pretty nice though. I would like to sell the design, but I haven't found any takers yet (I am an electrical engineer by profession).

I know what you mean! It's almost like the AQT is Crack Cocaine :) I have to get more and more of the stuff. Hmmm what does that make WILL? :D

I need another power bar plus the LAN module and the dimmable ballast's, and who knows what else they will come out with.

Very cool, can we see some pics of the Hardware you made?

Has anyone had any problems with their ORP probe? Mine was working fine up until a couple of days ago, now all it reads for ORP is -300 mV. I've reset the probe, controller, etc. but I can't get it to read anything different.

Better fire up the ozone! Sorry just kidding.

Have you checked the connection points and the lead wire? Almost sounds like the wire got pinched and broken, or the probe went bad.

You know, that's an interesting problem. Is there a way to limit the duration of a device staying on?

I'll be using the AQT to control my ozone generator, and a -300 ORP could cause a real problem if the set point for the ORP is 400.

Ed

HotHotHot, no kidding fire up the ozone, I've got a lot of ground to cover :)

I've got a RedSea Aquazone Deluxe (with the ORP probe). I was planning on using my AQT ORP probe as a backup - with the ozonizer plugged into the AQT powerbar. If the ORP breaches a certain limit (high or low), the AQT kills the power to the plug. Nice secondary backup in case the probe with the ozonizer goes haywire and it starts cranking out too much ozone. I have the same kind of setup with my ATO (AQT level sensor is the last ditch resort, if the water level gets that high, it kills the power to the ATO)
