Looking to get a 210 g tank. Anyone have experience with Aqueon glass tanks out of Wisconsin? Pet store outside of Chicago has their brand. My last 180
Was acrylic. Don't really know where else to go to get a tank

Aqueon is the lowest price/quality..
Their tanks are "ok"... Dont expect anything beyond mediocre

Check out fishtanksdirect.com. They built my 200g and 500g and a couple of friends also used them... all happy customers!

Probably need to find someone in the NW Ind, Chicago, Michigan area do I can go pick it up. I don’t want to pay for shipping!

Aqueon is fine for smaller tanks (its the brand Petco sells when running their $ per gallon sale).

But with 210 gallons of water at stake, I'd probably go with Planet Aquariums.

You'll pay for shipping one way or the other -

Did you check fish tanks direct? I just looked at a 280. shipping was "free".

My tank was roughly 25% cheaper at my lfs vs fishtanksdirect...
Deep Blue is now Sephora I believe...Their tanks are nice and often sold through a lfs

You need thick glass when you head into that size. I have an all glass 102, half inch (roughly) glass. Heavier than sin, not cheap. but easy to clean. Acrylic scratches really easily and can bow and crack with age, depending on structure.

I have an Aqueon 210 gallon, and it has been set up for a year with no problem. The lfs gave me it after my Marineland 220 gallon broke. The glass thickness is thin on both for an aquarium of that size.Shop around for something with thicker glass(if you stay with glass).

I’ve decided to go 225 acrylic from American Aquariums. I emailed at least ten different companies and the guy there has been a million times more helpful than anyone that’s even emailed me back.
Now I have to decide if I want to do in wall or not

I put my set up in the wall and it looks great and takes up no room .The way I did mine leaves no front access but I have a tank room, the rear of the aquariumsits in.I have access on 3 sides. You don't hear any noise in your display room from pumps, you can't see wires, hoses etc.You light unit is hidden etc.because everything runs in the fish room .I recommend it because of the large size of the aquarium set in the right wall looks very good.
