ARC Randy O black clowns being hosted

The Saltiest!
After a week the little guys have not chosen a host so after some reading I figured I would try the picture trick. I put of 6 pictures of black clowns being hosted by various corals and nems. Less than 20 minutes later I looked over, my jaw dropped and the smaller more adventuresome one was doing this...

Now honestly I am not sure if the pictures scared him and he ran in there or if he learned from seeing the pictures but either way its been an hour since he first went in the hammer and has yet to leave, his sibling has yet to follow him in.

I have two onyx banyan clowns in the one inch area in a tank parallel to my 125clown breeding tank that has two hosting clowns in it I put a long tip nem in the tank with the tank raised baby clowns and instantly they hosed. I believe that if they see clowns host in captive then they will.

Just my opinion. Congrats

So after 6 hours since I first put the pictures on the tank they are both having a ball in the hammer. I would say the picture method is very effective.

You might think about moving some of those corals that are so close to that anemone. When that thing grows a little it is going to sting to death everything the tenticles can touch. Speaking from experience.

It seems it's a hammer coral...I don't see any nems in that pic.

We tried the pic. technique with our original tiny GSM. It didn't work but we added another GSM which immediately swam to a nem...after a cpl days the other followed suit!
