As the title asks are Fridmani Pseudochromis notorious jumpers?
I'd just ordered 2 from LA to go in my new 40G breeder.
BTW, new tank, but plumbed into my 120G and will have old LR, even so they will go in the existing 20L for a couple of weeks.
Anybody else?
Well one jumper is too many anyway.
I've got some 3/8 in. clear netting from an extra cast net that I used on the back of my main DP.
I'll double some up in a window screen frame, just in case.
Both of mine made it through a small slit in the fitted glass top on my nanocube! Make sure you have no openings what so ever (your double netting sounds good).
I just finished the netting today.
I'm now afraid if one of them hit it at a good speed and angle the nets will make an effective gill net and I will find a crispy fish from the MH.
Oh yea, I covered the overflow box also.
Used that more rigid mesh stuff that has a diamond shape less than 1/4 in. for that.

That's always what's bothered me about the netting solution. I've never really seen anyone address it before. Seems like the fish could get caught pretty easily.
Yea, I've never seen it discussed either.
I don't know of another solution except a full canopy and I just bought a pendent 250W DE fixture that I have hanging.
I could probably rig it in a canopy but don't really want a canopy for this tank.
If I end up with crispy fish, I'll rethink my decision.
