Are golf balls reef safe?

Lol you may be wondering what the heck am I talking about, or why would I even ask that. Well I was toying with the idea of glueing a Jason fox jack o lantern frag to it and letting it encrust in a perfect little orange ball as opposed to growing it on a flat frag disc. I don't want it on my rock work simply for the fear of it growing out of control like most encrusting type frags do and eventually end up growing over something I like better (usually the case) plus come on it's called a jack o lantern it begs to be grown in the shape of a pumpkin laying on your sand bed. How cool would that be. I'm open to suggestions as alternative materials to the golf ball. Figured I just get the ball rolling, lol ideas welcomed. Oh and by the way does anyone have a real jason fox jack. Lantern frag they wanna sell lol. Thanks just trying to make my reef different lol

mold some of that Emaco 400gp into a ball... let dry............. and .... wala! you have a ball:) yup a ball..... lol

I don't know if a ball of epoxy will stay hard for a long length of time. Mabey , it would also be like $12 to $24 to possibly get a golfball size.

Cool idea but I think I would go bigger. Im sure it wouldn't take to long to cover a golf ball. Use a bio ball they are close to the size of a golf ball arent they

Golf balls float I think :)

Some do, most do not.

Franky, just drop a golf ball in a cup of super glue, then right into some water, then on to wax paper. That will give you a little flat side for setting it down.

Or find something made of LEGOs that match your size and shape

Nope, they definitely sink...

Why not make the shape you want out of aragacrete. You can make a mold in damp sand and then "pour" the aragacrete into the mold. You can make just about anything!

I have a frag of the J-O-L that did not come directly from Jason but is from his stock if you are interested. They are little frags but VERY cool and bright.

I got one from JF at last years ffm and was going to cut three frags to sell there this year. Let me know if you want one.

Just get a rock....leave it on its own island or when it starts to encrust off the rock...you move the rock...stop being silly...

you always gotta be so difficult...I'll see if i can whip the emaco I have into a nice round ball for you to use. Text me later to remind me to do it.
