Are internal parasites contagious?

I got a little a. polymnus but this whole time he's been stressed, now he's swimming in circles and hurting himself. my lfs got two in and theirs is doing great

if it is internal parasites, what are the chances of the 2nd a. polymnus catching it?

pretty good. i dont know about your fish but when mine poop everyone else in the tank has to take a bite as it floats around in the water before getting filtered out

if they werent contageous how would he have contracted them ? of corse they are able to pass from one fish to another . i would suggest dosing with prazi pro , its reef safe ans quite effective . be sure to follow the directions .

can i use it in a tank with snails and shrimp? The saddleback was in a holding tank with my harlequin shrimp. i could get prazi pro from someone locally but want to make sure the shrimp dont die from dosing
