Hi Guys,

Well I have a 30G Fusion for about 2 months now. Everything was done by the paper prior to add ANY livestock. My water parameters are normal but, since yesterday I notice that my golbi was acting weird. Today he was almost dead. what the heck? Now literally 10 minutes after that my clowns show these spots in on of their stripes. I don't understand how everything was perfectly normal 2 days ago and suddenly this happens. Now the clowns are stuck in just one place and one of them tried to rub in the sand like pretty hard. Could this be just dead skin? Also I've just noticed that there's something hanging under his belly.

Please help I don't want to loose my fish.

Search brooklynella

Thank you much GTR. The "worm thing" that was hanging on his belly now is gone. But, I spotted a couple others floating in the tank. Are you sure this discoloration was done by this decease? By the way I don't have anything else in the tank just these 2 clowns.

Thanks

The pics are hard to tell but I agree with above from what I see it looks like brooklynella you will need to get them in a qt asap and I would do a fw dip and add metroplex at 250 mgs you have to move quick with brooklynella it kills fast

thank you so much.

guys I don't have a QT tank. This is my only tank and all 3 fishes have the decease. So since I don't have anything else in the tank couldn't I use the actual tank as QT and wait?

thanks

Use a 5 gallon bucket with a few PVC tubes for hiding spots. Good luck.

The problem using the DT is rock sand ect can absorb the meds also the bio film in the tank can break down the meds. Metroplex cannot be used with inverts in the tank. You can buy a ten gallon tank at petco for 10 $ a small filter and a small heater use a little bio media from your tank you should be able to set up a qt for under 50$ you called use a bucket or a steralite storage bin and a heater and sponge filter
