Are my corals dying?

Okay, so I recently upgraded tanks. It will be a week tomorrow since I moved all my livestock to my new tank. My hammers and torches are and have not been out as they were when I had them in my previous tank.

For the past three days or so, my on of my bigger hammers and a torch I have, have been releasing this chunky white flesh-like thing. I'm not sure if that means they're dying or they're pretty much dead.

The polyps on the corals aren't out as they used to, but are still a bit. I turned off one of my power heads just invade the current was too much for them. They're still getting good flow though.

I placed the hammer a bit higher to the lighting instead of having it closer to the sand bed.

Any help will be appreciated!

Parameters are all fine. Salinity is at 1.026 maybe a 1.025 now.

First of all hammers are LPS this is a soft coral thread part of the problem is that people don't know what they have, so how can they take care of it. not only that you are probably going through a cycle being it has only been a week that's not very long in the grand scheme of this hobby. when you say other parameters are fine what does that mean.

Whoops[emoji29] I always confuse the soft corals :S. Apologies.
I thought I was going through a mini cycle since my fish were also breathing heavily, and my amonia was at a .10. Now it's at a 0. Fish seem fine. Anemones are doing great as well! I though I was going to loose my lta because it's tentacles looked HORRIBLE! Anyhow, is this "normal" for the corals then? How much longer do you think it will take for them to acclimate? Should I not move my corals around for the time sake...?

Hammers, Frogspawns, and Torchs like low light and low flow in my experiences. I would put them on the sandbed and see how they do. The ammonia and the mini-cycle may have had an effect on the corals.

Five heads of my torch died. :/. Four are doing okay.

Another torch has a head that has its tentacles looking like they're melting. The mouth is open and sagging.

My hammer is shrinking more and more. It comes out a bit at night and then retracts.

You gotta cut off the dying heads quick style. I have experienced this before.Whatever it is, its probably spreading. Once i cut off the dying heads everything was fine for me.

I recently started a new tank. It took about 6 weeks before corals (other than Zoas) started looking happy, in the first weeks stuff was dying. All tested parameters were good from day one, but obviously the tank wasn't ready for livestock.
