I heard today that Picasso clownfish do not breed. The person that told me was not 100% sure he was correct. Can anyone give some insight? Thanks,

craig

that person is ignorant. they have not been around long enough to breed. and if hes not 100% sure, what do you think that tells you about his credibility and the value of his statement. the parents of the picasso are wc.

They have been around for thousands of years and happily breeding away... After all they are just an unusual degree of mis/extra barring of a A. percula.

Come on folks, something special to see here, move along, move along.

Hey fellas, calm down. I was suspect of what I was told, that's why I posted the question. Thanks for the quick response.

It is my understanding that the PICASSO clown is a cross breed from A. percula and A. occilaris!? Please set my right if i am way off base.

Yep off base. The term Picasso was coined when Project Reef posted a picture of a WC A. percula a couple of years ago that had all kinds of wild extra barring and someone mentioned that it reminded them of a Picasso painting.

Jhartman, you should post this fact in a thread at the top of the forum so you dont have to repeat saying it so many times ! :)

I am confused! I have read so many different thing about this on so many different boards that I can not tell what is fact or not the facts!

Sorry,
Martin
