are pinks supposed to fluorese under actinic?

Hi, in the evening when my radion is only actinic all the greens, orange and reds fluorese..."pop". The pink birds nest and stylophora that both look pink under the full spectrum light, just look like dark purple under actinic. No fluorese....normal?

Depends on the specific coral not just what color it is. I have several zoa's that have pink centers or markings, some glow other dont. As for the corals you have stated I dont have first hand knowledge of those but I can say my purple stylo has no florescence where my rainbow stylo has glowing green polyps.
