Are Red Mushrooms Toxic???

had one stuck to my finger for about 5 minutes and now its a little tingly. like almost asleep. should i worry

I'm sure it's like anything else. Just don't use the bathroom without washing your hands first :O. Why was it on your finger so long. My skin on my arm gets tingly/weird after messing around with my tank. I know, I need to get gloves, maybe you should too.

i saw it blowing across the bottom of my tank so i hurried up and grabbed it. in my haste to keep it from blowing again i stuck it upside down on my finger to apply a drop of super glue to its base and put it on a rock. superglue was plugged, ran and found a wire and unplugged it with the shroom on my finger the whole time so i wouldnt have to dry the base again(LOL) a few minutes later the finger started feeling funny even though i washed thouroughly when i was done. its fine now but i was getting worried for a few. now we can all laugh at me LOL LOL

I don't know about red mushrooms being toxic but have had my arm feel weird after being in the tank a while. Being a nurse I've wondered how that ER visit would go....well, I was cleaning the tank and ........... I tell people at work, I have the ocean in the diningroom so if something crazy happens keep that in mind.

aaanyways i get that weird tingly numb feeling whenever i move or frag palys... i think its just the "placebo effect" kinda thing... i should probably wear gloves too but theyre such a pain.

Had som purple ones once my neighbor asked if he could try one, I told him that I would but I didn't have the $$ for the cab ride to the emergeny room just in case. I should hav let him (guinea pig) to see if I should put on pink floyd. Missed that chance.
