Are the forums dead?

I agree, most people have moved to the Facebook groups and other forum sites, gotta keep up with the times

Yea every time I post here there is basically no response. Maybe because I haven't been a member since 1902 [emoji23]

Yea, this is why I think people have made there way to facebook and other pages. Theres no response here unless you're in the group I feel like.

Reef 2 Reef is thriving but I sense A different tone there. I dont Know. Maybe it’s just me. I like Browsing there but almost never post. I still Check URS daily. It’s my only link to social media.

I'm in here pretty much every day, but I've taken to posting in the main/major forums if I want faster responses or greater feedback. It's harder to discern good info from bad there, but it's the to-be-expected give in take I guess.

I don't do FB anymore, so RC is my best option for info/feedback.

Seems like everything is going towards facebook these days. But there to much drama on it for me so I tend to stay away.

It's certainly quieter than years ago, I don't do social media either. I check in several times a week and if I have something helpful to say I'll chime in.

Thank goodness I don't see much about adding nitrate and phosphate here!

Im still here too. I don't check in much but try to at least once a week. I do the facebook thing, but preferred the way it used to be here.

personally

fb ties everything together for me: friends, family, science geeks, reef geeks, plant geeks etc.

There is drama EVERYWHERE in this world.
You need to learn to avoid toxicity

Seems to be less drama on here then FB. I don't get involved in it, but seems everyone is out to get everyone on FB in this hobby, kind of sad and makes me miss the old days! Was much simpler!

Pick your friends and aquaintences wisely and it could be simpler than ever nowadays.

Check out Jamie Craggs spawning Acros at Horniman.
Incredible stuff happening!
