Are there any rare ones that you dont see too often ??

Just looked at the Gem Tang. Never seen one. Cool though ... are the yellow tangs with a black stripe rare ?

Plus 1 on the Gem tang, awesome, rare, but expensive.....I didnt see the sohal on your list. Not that rare but a nice fish.

I left out a couple. Too many to list lol but I the sohal is very nice, but they using get aggressive dont they ?

Yes a sohal tang will get more aggressive with age. This aggression shows even more so in smaller tanks, the suggested 350 gallon aquarium may not even be enough for them. They should only be kept in the largest aquariums with large foot prints. Generally speaking tangs under the genus Acanthurus are aggressive with some like the orange-shoulder being less aggressive.

Let's see...

Fowleri Tang
Mata Tang
AUSTRALIAN DUSSUMIERI TANG...not Hawaiian
Maculiceps Tang

These are all rare but not out of reach like the Gem Tang.

Some of mine through the years... :)

I have a soft spot for Zebrasoma... well suited to captive life and stunning in my opinion... :)

Is that blue hippo with the large amount of black a hybrid or just deformed coloration? Also, is that last pic a PBTxGoldrim hybrid? They are gorgeous!!

Is that blue hippo with the large amount of black a hybrid or just deformed coloration?!!

Not a hybrid... Paracanthurus is a monotypic genus and so hippos have no close relatives to hybridize with... it is an aberrant that has held its color for years... who you calling deformed buddy!!?? :frog:

Also, is that last pic a PBTxGoldrim hybrid? They are gorgeous!!

Yes... I also own the much rarer goldrim achilles hybrid... which I need to snap photos of...

Way to sneak in that Apolemichthys arcuatus, Copps', youre making me jealous buddy ... If it came down to it id rather own those two fish in that acrylic specimen container, than the machine that key in front of them ignites !

How about the new Papahanaumokuakea Marine National Monument exhibit at The Waikiki Aquarium !?!

Youre the man Copps' !
