Are there fish you would NOT attempt tank transfer with?

For instance I'm considering a pair of female Bellus - small, expecting one of them to turn male. I' reading a lot, but not sure of their sensitivity to change (transfer...) I have 2 20 gal tanks ready & have familiarized myself with the method as stated in previous posts here.

I run all new fish through TT without issues and wouldn't hesitate to do so with Bellus Angels. As Dmorty said, match salinity and temp of the tanks.

The only circumstances I could think of where I wouldn't use TTM would be:
1. I think the fish have Velvet or Book, so I need to treat them with copper/CP yesterday.
2. For whatever reason, I can't catch the fish safely without injuring it or myself.

I really can't think of any other good reason to not use TTM. Maybe a horrific fluke infection?

A collander seems like a better option and less stressful.

When transferring fish, I've been using a clear plastic, lately it has been a hang on refugium i'm no longing use as a refugium. Clear see-thru objects don't stress the animal out as much as something they can't see what's going on with. This way, they tend to feel safer = less stress, and that's something everyone wants haha.

Actually, acclimation boxes work well. Clear, non threatening. But squared (90 degree edges) is advantaged over round since fish tend to go to corners.
