Are these angels reef safe?

I love these angel fishes.

1. Centropyge vroliki
2. Centropyge eibli
3. Centropyge flavicauda

Are they reef safe, any one got them in your tank with corals?

Please tell me your experience

Thanks

I've had an eibii, which didn't bother my softies or LPS. It's said all three can nip at LPS and clam mantles. Both Blue Zoo Aquatics and LA have good profiles regarding these fishes. My Flame ignored all my corals.

I don't think any dwarf angels are completely reef safe - and the conditions that make one individual a model citizen in one tank and a second a terror in another tank are unclear. Individual differences, tank mates, coral and invert choices all probably make a difference. I'm a huge fan of these fish, and unless one is leaving a path of destruction in his or her wake then I'm inclined to be 'understanding'. My faves, not necessarily in this order, are Flame, Potters, LemonPeel and the RedStripe. I'd love to have all four in my tank, but have been unable to find the courage to try. I currently have a fairly large Flame in my mixed reef. He is generally well behaved, though my open brain coral is looking a little peaked, I suspect, from the occasional nip. I also have a Potters in my min reef/QT that will go into the main DT once it has put on a bt of weight. I'd not seriously consider a LemonPeel for a reef tank though. My LFS currently has a RedStripe (as well as a mimic, which might be a better choice) and I'm sorely tempted.

In my experience the three angelfish that you listed are amongst the worst of the Dwarf Angelfish for nipping at corals.....

I think another factor is they are worse with age. A lot of people post their experience while their angels are still young.

I had a flame that was a model citizen for almost a year. Then some sps that was in the tank for a long time stop extending polyps. It was the flame. Which is now in a different tank. No more angel for me in my reef.

Flauvicauda is a pygmy. That really doesn't have much to do with how reef safe it is, but if it does develop a taste for corals it "SHOULD" cause a smaller amount of damage compared to one of the larger dwarfs.

I really want a flame, but don't want to risk my corals or go through the hassle of trying to catch one if it becomes destructive. I bought a 40 with the plans of making it a FOWLR to house one. I know LA recommends 70 minimum, but this is one of the rare times I disagree with them on that.

I heard the young ones eat algae/spirulina and then when they get older they eat their normal adult diet of coral and crustacean(pods)
