Are these lights ok for sps?

i dont think it would be enough for sps, i would think maybe mushrooms and other lower light corals. maybe if you out them right near the top but still i dont think it would be enough.

sorry icouldnt be any more help

that's ok bmoons, thanks for tanking the time to look and help with what you could. i appreciate it.

i think it will be fine as long as they are near the top like 4-5 max inches down other then that a good set of bulb will also help i recommend ATI

so th ati's are a lot better than the geismann? thanks fo rthe help

Those geismann's will work fine they are very good bulb's. It sounds like a decent setup. The light you bought were fairly expensive you could have got a 6x54w tek fixture that would have been perfect for your tank for cheaper, but you already have the lights so just keep your sps in the middle to top of your tank and you'll be good. The light combination sounds fine, but it may be kinda white or yellow, i like my tank a bit bluer personally.
