Are these snails reef safe?

My kids grabbed a bunch of snails from our beach today and wanted to keep them to put in the tank. I'm on the central/south east coast of florida. They were found in the surf buried in the sand. Are they ceriths? Reef safe? Last thing I want to do is put the wrong thing in the tank.

No, I do not believe they are Cerith.

I think they belong to the Terebridae. Likely not reef safe.

I don't like the look of that appendage, so I wouldn't risk it. I'm not a snail ID expert, however. 17 cents a piece for reef cleaners dwarf ceriths would be a better bet, imo.
