Are these Vermited Snails (Pictures)

I have noticed this wight stringy stuff starting to grow more and more around my zoa's. Just today I see the spiral tube in the front of the frag. The zoas where QT for 3 weeks and in the DT for over a month before I saw anything growing on them.

If these are the snail should and how do I get rid of them. The zoa's don't really seem bothered, it just doesn't look as nice. I also don't want them to overrun the tank as I have tried very hard to keep pest and other bad things out of the tank.

Thanks.

It's hard to tell in the pics, but I do not see anything vermetid. Their tubes are fairly obvious, being roughly 1/8" diameter, and have a pair of antennae protruding when not closed up. Also, they produce a clear mucous net that blows in the current, not white stringy stuff.

This looks more like fungus or perhaps a sponge.

Here are hopefully better photos. If it is fungus how to remove it. Should I just remove the frag and get rid of it. Do I need to worry about anything else in the tank.

Yes, better. Not vermetids.

I've been fortunate to not to have to deal with fungus on zoanthids. There is a good thread about it here. The posting by A. Grandis is particularly informative.

Thanks for the help, I will look more into it and if I can get them cured I will advise what I did. For now they will be going back to QT tomorrow.

I had something similar show up on my Bam Bam colony about 6 months ago(i have had the colony about a year, it was the first coral i purchased).

I ended up deciding it was sponge. Once it got to a larger size, i just took my tweezers and it removed easily in large clumps without damaging the zoa colony. Havent seen anything similar on any of my colonies since.
