Are you going to Coral Con?

Quick question... Is Coral Con and Reef-a-Palooza the same thing or are they really both taking place the same weekend in Orlando?

Either way, I can't go. Too far for me to pick up corals for my small tank. If I had a huge one that I was just starting, I would most definitely go. Seems like it will be a good time. I hope you all enjoy.
 
RAP is taking place in California, where it originally came from. RAP orlando was months ago. They are two different conventions.

I will be there one of those days, probably Saturday. How are the prices at these conventions? Is there really even much to buy or is it more of a showcase?
 
I'm up in the air with it. I feel the cost of admission is to high and quickly offsets any savings I may get on corals . Some nice pieces can be found on the opening day , the earlier the better, however the better deals may be had on Sunday afternoon as most of the vendors would rather not take their corals back home.
I would rather see $5 less on entry fees and lower table rates for the venders so the savings could be passed on to the consumer. Almost $30 entry for my wife and I last year
 
Looking at the vendors list it appears if you have no intention on buying coral you might as well not go.
