Daughter comes home from school the other day and says she has to build a diarama. I remember doing this in school for something like an indian settlement. I'm thinking this shouldn't be too bad, so I ask what the subject is. She smiles and says "A coral reef".
Talk about a great father/daughter project. I said well that shouldn't be too bad, you know a little about that from our tank.
Anyway, I think it turned out great. We went to the dollar store and found some of those spikey-squishy balls. as soon as she saw it, she said "hey a purple sea urchin." I glanced at it and sure enough, looked like a great urchin. found another with long flowy "spikes", and she said, "An anemone". It was great to see her relate to things in this hobby so well.
Enough talk, here are some pics of her project, oh and thanks Jim.
