Yes the group buy dosen't start till the 23rd. You will get an e-mail on tuesday telling you it has started.

I'm sure Nakama made an honest mistake. The group buy starts on the 23rd, I see no reason on taking the chance and ruining it for others.
I'm sure that there has been some form of miscommunication on the part of BRS. It appears they told nakama the buy started on the 16th (the day Tank o Tang set it up). But they also clearly told Tank o Tang it started on the 23rd. I trust both those guys, and am sure they are both accurately conveying what they were respectively told.
As a test I just went to the BRS website and put a bunch of stuff in my basket without signing on. I recorded the prices, then emptied the basket, signed on, and clicked purchase for the exact same stuff. The costs in my basket were identical, except one large item that had a pretty impressive cut off of the posted price.
My conclusion? Something is up now, just as nakama indicated was communicated to him.
But what am I going to do about it? Hold my horses until I get the email on the 23rd and buy then. That's what he was asked to do. That's what was passed along to us. The worst thing that can happen is that I'll find that even more things are discounted next week.
I'll take that risk.

How do the group buy prices look? I was just getting a shopping list together when I saw the thread, not sure if its worth rushing or not.

We have to wait for the e=mails. They should be soon since I got an e-mail confirming todays group buy and to wait for the e-mails. Should be soon since they are further west. If anyone dosen't get an e-mail today that had signed up please let me know.
