ARO Ballasts

Is it true that the ARO electronic metal halide ballasts sold by Hello Lights are actually Ice Cap ballasts. The exact same quality Ice Cap just re-named for Hello Lights?

I dont think that they are Icecaps. Ice caps ballasts have a totally different shape and size. I run 3 ARO 150's and i like them alot. They perform very well. I would recommend them to anyone.

I went fom an Icecap to ARO I like both. but dont know if there made by the same people though.

Yes, they are the same size. There was a thread the other day where it was mentioned that they were relabeled Ice Caps. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else knew for sure.

if anything, the icecaps would be relabeled aro ballasts. I don't think icecap actually -makes- ballasts.

Also, some Sanjay's data suggests that if they aren't the same thing, they are -very- similar. :X

Which could just be slight variances between different individual ballasts of the exact same make and model.
