Ok. And I also went to EcoTech site and see that there is an Acclimation Mode that can be used. Ill try that. I don't want to harm my corals.
I Gen 1 right now with TIR lens upgrade. It's very cool of EcoTech to upgrade these lights to Pro. They are literally sending me brand new Pros and crediting my card with exactly what I paid for Gen 1 and TIR lenses.

I bought Gen 1 when they originally came out. When the Gen 2 came out shortly after that, I bought the TIR lenses for $30 and was able to put them on to the Gen 1 modules; turning them into Gen 2 lights.
Now that the Pros are out, I wanted to upgrade. EcoTech has an upgrade program which allows Gen 1 or Gen 2 owners to upgrade the modules to Pro.
One option is to purchase the Pros from EcoTech (which I did). They charged my credit card for the 4 modules.
When I receive and mount the brand new lights, I simply mail back my current Gen 1 lights with TIR lenses and EcoTech will credit my card for the original purchase price of the Gen 1 and an additional $30 for the TIR lenses.
What this amounts to is $270 for each brand new module.
Of course I do pay for shipping.
So, I end up paying exactly what it would have cost for a Pro without loosing money on Gen 1. Plus, now I will have the latest product instead of the oldest product when they come out with yet another upgrade.

Are sure? When I did my upgrade, there were 2 options:
1. Send your units for upgrade and they send them back (what I did)
2. Send your units for upgrade, they send you a replacement which you have to return when you get your unit back.
If it is as you say, this is awesome. It didn't matter to me because mine were unused, LOL!
