Arrow Crab???

I wanna get an arrow crab, are they reef/fish safe? They look pretty cool.

i read when they get bigger they can be mean like sally lightfoot crabs
eating snails and killing fish

Like all crabs you have to keep an eye on them and if yo don't mind loosing all your tube worms

They're very cool looking but not reef safe.

I dont consider them reef safe, I've seen them catch fish before.

Yup, they will eat your fish if they can catch them.

They'll also eat your bristleworms, a valuable tank cleaner. If you want a reefsafe and entertaining crab, the safest is the green mithrax (emerald) crab.

They are very predatory from the ones that I have had. The final straw with mine is when it ate a cleaner shrimp

They're cool looking but I wouldn't get one again unless I had a tank set up just for predators. I had one and he got so big and mean I couldnt even put my hand in the tank to clean it because he'd attack me! Arrow crabs are evil too. But I'd like to have a tank some day with things like an arrow crab, maybe an angler and an eel or something like that. but be careful what you put in with them.
