Artemiss/Herbtana for diseases control

Has anyone used theese products. Was recomende by local pet store. I have a 2yr old goby that has developed popeye (i think),and a NEW coral beauty that is scratching a bit. Both are in a reef tank.

Is the popeye in one or both eyes? If it's just in the one you can use epsom salt to treat it, just make sure the epsom salt says "USP" on it. One tablespoon per 5g of water, a little more won't hurt since you literally can't overdose the stuff. Never heard either one of those products mentioned before, let alone for disease or bacterial issues.

Herbtana is snake oil. Per Dmorty217's comment above, popeye can be treated with epsom salt or a broad-spectrum antibiotic like kanamycin.

The Coral Beauty could be infected with either flukes or Cryptocaryon (ich). Both have different treatment protocols. Recommend you review the stickies at the top of this forum for treatment options.

I do have a zeba eel in the tank does that count as a snake ha ha ha.
