Article about the damselfish invading the Gulf of Mexico

Here is an article explaining the origin of an invasive damselfish in the Gulf of Mexico:

They seem to prove that it was brought to the Gulf of Nexico by transferring an oil platform from the Indopacific. For once the scientists are not blaming aquarists of dumping fish into the water.

I would not have thought that tropical damsels could survive the water temps at Cape of Good Hope but the article has a decent explanation of how it might happen with rigs that rounded the cape in the summer (Jan/Feb) of El Nino years.
