Ascension Goby (Priolepis ascensionis)

I just saw my little yellow priolepis for the first time since throwing it in the tank over a year ago!! And hangin' with the nocturna of all things!

I occasionally post this search on the web boards. I have a little Upside-Down fish named Dizzy. I've had him for over a year and a half. I know another person here in greater Orlando who has one and once got a reply from a man in Scotland who has one. The fish is a Priolepis ascensionis, or Ascension Goby. Their range in nature is around Ascension Island and St. Helena in the South Atlantic. It's really cool to see him out around the tank free-swimming upside-down.

I know they are unusual in the hobby, but I cannot imagine that I have one of three in captivity. If anybody else has this amazing fish, please respond here. I would love to see Dizzy's cousins...

Here he is:

I Have had this guy since I bought him from Marcy at Sea in the City Orlando, FL 2006. He has gone through several moves and even from county to county but yet out of the hundreds of fish that came and gone this one of a kind warrior is still with me.

As crazy as I probably am for saying this; lets say I wanted to sell him how much do you think he would be worth?

Do your research or look at the previous post on this page plus consider that I have had him for over 8 years now

Here is my guy.

Here is my guy. Love this guy. Never seen him swim up right other then when last I moved him from one tank in to the other and had to catch him in that trap you see in the first pick. He even shoots out to eat up side down.

So what do you guys think ??
