ASM G2 Mod Question

Just finish doing the gate valve mod, but had to rise the skimmer about 4" so I could get the 1 1/4 valve to fit in my sump. So my pump is under about 5" of water. My question is before doing the mod my skimmer body use to full with bubble from top to bottom and now after the mod there only half way....is this common.?

I beleive that since you raised the skimmer, you increase the head on the pump and there for are no longer puiing the same amount of air and water through the pump. You need to figure out how to get the skimmer back down.

You will get the best results with a mesh wheel and drilling out the venturi.

Drilling out the venturi are you talking about just the airline.?
