I have a question, I see some place that carry the ASM G4 skimmer with a Sedra 5000 and another one Sedra 9000.
Does it make that much of a difference to justify for a Sedra 9000, which uses more wattage?

Here is a pic of my new G2 collection cup after only 2 1/2 days in my sump. I broke it in for a week in a tub of SW that I added a few gallons of tank water to. My old skimmer would need a week to do the same.
I am so glad I went with ASM!

This may be buried somewhere in this thread and if so, I apologize, but is anyone using the gen-x NW pumps on their ASM skimmers? I have a G2 with no pump and was going to order a Sedra 5000 (BB tank, want to skim wet) but the Gen X pumps are less then half the price?
