asm skimmer replacement pump

Hello all, my sedra 3500 pump is deciding to be very finiky. Only works some of the time, so instead of waiting till Im gone and it to completely stop, want to go ahead and get a new pump. Any suggestions? the skimmer is version 1 or 2.

My pump was the Sedra 2500 and I just replaced the impeller. I'm back in business.
