i read up on them it says they can be kept by themselves or as a group of 3 in a 100 g. Anyone have 2 in a tank smaller than 55? I have a 30 and would love to keep a pair of these guys! I know they can be territorial, i do understand that it is highly unlikely, just wondering if anyone has, and maybe how they did it thanks.

I've got 2 in my 35. One larger than the other. They are a fab little fish which grow pretty slowly. I hanvt seen any aggression between the 2 or towards other fish. I would go for it if u can get ur hands on some of these guys. They do like to hide alot, my little one vanished for 4-5 days after the intro and the larger was out and about from the start. The smaller is out alot more since I added the second, and the hang together all the time. Pretty shy fish so don't worry if they hide for a while till they settle. I have seen mine swim and hover around upside down too! Overall cool lil fish!

ORA has bred these. They're available pretty regularly on DD (the other merchant I've seen isn't an RC sponsor, so I won't mention them by name, but you can search for "ORA assessor" and they'll come up).

I've seen a trio of them at my LFS. They are beautiful little fish. One of my fantasy tanks is a ZeroEdge-type setup with a small group of yellow assessors and tiers of colorful plating Montipora to form little ledges and caves for them.

Awesome! I have an ora from my lfs, i have another fs that can get them for 50 bucks apiece any time i want, i think i may do that! i'll just rearrange the rockwork and add a smaller one. how many other fish do you have in your 35? what kinds. I'm thinking about doing a pair of flavissimus a dracula goby and L.Rubre.
