Asterina Stars Needed

Hi All,
does anyone have any asterina starfish they'd like to get rid of? I have a hungry bongo shrimp who would love to eat them. I'd be happy to come collect them, or really do whatever it takes to make this annoying task easier for you.

Of course, I'd be happy to pay a bit for your trouble as well. I know there must be a few of you out there who have too many in your sump or display tank.

How 'bout a trade? I've had a stomatella snail explosion, and I caught another one releasing its gametes into the current today, so I anticipate more in the future.

will your shrimp eat choco star? I have one in my sump thats been in there over a year. it was a feeder when i had a harly shrimp. would love to trade for a few stomatella's. I do come up to the tulsa area about once a week.

nope--just mini-brittle stars and asterinas. But I'd be happy to give you a few stomatellas. No need to trade. I've got several dozen more than I need.

Just send me a pm and let me know when you'll be in town, and I'll be glad to let you have them.

Will do. I've been trying to find a few ever since I set this tank up. I had them in anothre tank years ago and they were a great addition to the cuc. I'll let you know when I'm going to be in town.

Sorry for the slow reply. Yes, I have plenty of stomatellas, and I appreciate the offer. But if you are still in VA, there's no way I can ship safely and economically in this heat. It's 102 here every day, and they'll turn to slime before they ever leave Oklahoma.

Just checking in again to see if anyone has asterina stars available, and is willing to either collect them or let me collect them. I've been feeding my bongo shrimp frozen asterinas for a few weeks, but I'm about to run out. I still have zillions of stomatella snails, and of course cash money, so I'm glad to make it worth your while to do this annoying task.

I was able to pull roughly 50 asterinas this morning for you. I will be in Tulsa running service around 2 if you'd like to meet up. I've got way more in the tank these were just most of the ones on the glass this morning. How fast does the shrimp go thru them?

rats! I had an obligation today from 11-3:30, and just now got back to my computer. I'll be glad to come get them from you whenever it's convenient, or if you're coming into town tomorrow, we can try to meet up.

He can be sustained on 3/day, but would probably eat as many as I could give him. Every time I think I have enough to get my own colony going, something happens and I end up feeding my reserves.
