ATI Blue+

If anyone is purchasing from a vendor that sells ATI T5 bulbs I would like to place an order with you. I need a Blue+ bulb and don't want to pay the shipping for just it. I know ReefGeek is one of the companies that carries ATI.

David, I might be ordering before real long. I just got my T5 setup and not sure what all I am going to run for bulbs yet

If you don't mind I would like to throw in a Blue+ bulb on the order. I can give you the money for the order at the upcoming meeting or via PayPal.

Thats fine. I am going to try to get my new lights hooked up tonight after class. Looks like I might have an all nighter. I know I have a collection of bulbs that came with it, the guy I got it from said it was a "blue" setup, and he found more bulbs and endcaps after we swapped so he is going to be sending me some more. I might have one in there that you can use.

Sounds cool. What setup did you end up going with?

I am planning to switch out my Reeflux 10k bulbs for Radiums and run one T5 UVL Super Actinic and one T5 ATI Blue+ for supplemenation.

I will be getting my T5 set-up from ReefGeek very shortly. It's hard to make yourself order lights when you don't have the tank yet. As soon as this stupid weather gets better, I'll be transporting the tank from Coral Reef. I want to get over to Mojo's house to look at his bulbs. I've decided on 4 out of 6 bulbs, but want to see a few Mojo has before deciding on the other 2. Let me know if either of you need anything, maybe we can all go in on an order to save on some shipping.

You will be happy with the radiums. I loved mine. They lasted forever. They had almost 2yrs use on them when I got rid of them, and they still got great color, gave me great growth. There is something to be said with buying a good bulb.

I got a retro kit that I traded off my 400w MHs for. It is a six bulb retro with Tek II reflectors, not sure on the bulbs yet, and 2 660 ballasts. I will use that all for now, but I might upgrade to better reflectors later on. Was thinking of the IceCaps or the ATI reflectors. I have heard that reefgeek I think it was had top notch ones, but you have to ask for them, they don't advertise them yet. Just more stuff to play with.
