No, IMO, it looks the same as the P+

Thinking in the T5 equipment thread is not to bother with low par actinic because the blue plus provide lots of pop and are higher par (this assumes you are building a reef of course). You might consider swapping them out for another blue plus plus a KZ New Gen.

My opinion. I've used always ATI bulbs in my 6x54w fixture. Normally I used 3 blue + 3 white bulbs. I tested also FP from KZ, and procolor from ATI but I don't see a nice effect. Last time I used only KZ bulbs and their look is better (the white is not so white like ATI) but I think the cost difference is too high. Now, I've to replace them again and I'm thinking to use 2 Aquablue, 3 blueplus and the last one actinic o purple plus.

Why do you consider actinic bulbs from Giessemann?

i use 1 x Giesemann Pure Actinic, 1 x Blue Plus, 2 x ATI Aquablue for my 3 footer previously

currently using 2 x ATI Actinic for my 4 footer

the luminous effect is way below my expectation
