ATI Sunpower/Apex issue

I've been having some issues with either my Apex or ATI, or a combination of both. I'm running into instances where the 2nd channel turns on (6 bulb channel) while programmed to be off on the Apex. When this happens, I get a loud obnoxious buzzing sound from the fixture. This only happens when the 2 bulb channel is on. When I manually turn on the 6 bulb channel through the apex, the noise goes away. If I don't turn on the 6 bulb channel I have to unplug the cord that powers the 6 bulb channel to get the noise to stop and the bulbs to turn off. Manually turning the channel off with the Apex app doesn't do anything.

Any insight?

I've never heard of this problem.

Do you think maybe the apex isn't putting out enough power for the ati? Meaning, there could be some sort of electrical issue with the EB4/8 you're running.

Have you tried running both plugs in a direct outlet? If so, what occurs then?

No, I don't think it's a case of not getting enough power, but probably is an electrical issues with the eb8. When both channels are suppossed to be on, everything is fine. It's occasionally when the 2nd channel is off, and the first channel is on, that the 2nd channel turns on randomly when it should be off and creates the audible siren.

Did you try plugging the unit directly into the wall (or anywhere not connected to the Apex) to replicate the issue?

I haven't because I don't think I can replicate it that way. The second channel turns on when it should be off, but has an internal buzzing. Do u mean just plug in channel 1and see if it replicates? I doubt it would as power isn't going to channel 2. It's plugged into apex. It's not something that always happens either.
