my thoughts exactly. that is why i picked it. i have 3 75s 2 40s and a 180.. of which only my 40 and 75 are up. so this is my 3rd tank. im wanting a sps dominated tank. im hoping that it works out for me and that i can keep them. ive been reading till my brain hurts trying to have a plan of action. any hints?

Sorry taken so long I guess I missed the post.

a 40B should be just fine for keeping SPS. There are quite a few on the board that are keeping SPS in their 40Bs.

If you are asking about hints for SPS... then I would say just read whatever you can find about SPS. Pristine water (i.e. great parameters) along with very careful monitoring is a must. Once everything has been setup and dialed in I would suggest a few of the more forgiving SPS. Just acclimate them well so they don't bleach out. Then slowly add more coral as you get more comfortable with them.

Fsurocks99 has a nice 40B thread in the SPS forum. Maybe you can grab some ideas from following him.
