After speaking with a few member within our club there was some interest expressed in some of atlantis aquarium's frags (they are a sponsor here on RC). I have been e-mailing them and they have agreed to free shipping if we get together an order over $500. I usually keep my orders local but I know there is a lot of us that have that one frag that has alluded us at swaps or local shops. Atlantis has frags and colonies of many harder to find pieces and I know atleast for me it is hard to order a single $50-100 frag especially when another $30-40 is tacked on for shipping.

If anyone is interested in any of their live-stock leave a mssg here and I will add it to the order. I will place the order when (If) we break the $500 mark. Sinse many of their frags are distributed on a limited basis, I would like to place the order within a week or Two, that way if anyone wants a LE frag that is available now they will actually get it.

If you have any questions post them in this thread. The items will all need to be shipped to one place, I do not care who wants to recieve the shipment, everyone else will need to be able to pick-up the items at that person's house. I can ship to my apartment (I am located in lakewood) but I am only available to recieve the items on fri-sun (I dont know if they ship on weekends?).

Those interested post what you want, amt of piece (so we can keep a tally) and what days you are available for pick-up. If you want the package sent to your house so that we will use your house as pick-up then respond, we can work out the shipping via-pm. I can pay all cost upfront (within reason :D ) and you can pay me back at the next meeting or leave the money with the person you pick the frag/item up with.

I just bought a bunch of frags from them a week ago. :)

Nice people. Nice frags, be prepared tho, LE's are small.

lol im in the same boat.

so far, unknown blue-tip deepwater $60 , Their suharsonoi is nice and I will most likely go with a frag of it, but I am going to detroit this weekend to get a frag and see some shops, If I find one there then I wont need it.

Hey Shawn,

The Atlantis pieces were decent size, the "rare" pieces were small.
Heres a pic of them acclimating in a 1g bucket:
To give you an idea on size, the Tyree LE Bail Tri was 1/2", no more.
The Palatta Blue (yes I mispelled it!) was a hair over 1/2",
The Atlantis blue prostrata was probably 1 1/2", I actually cut it into 2 frags.

Let me add, this pic was camera flash only. No aquarium lighting... They are very nice colored frags.

Yes they give Discounts after $200, The amounts can been seen on the Order/Contact page.

The Aculeus was my "freebie" he let me pick out. Its actually very colorful even tho it dosnt look so in the pic. :)

I MAY be interested in a clam also, but i will need to see thier stock when you place the order. so when you get about $50 away from the $500 goal, let me know and i will MOST LIKELY add a clam at about $60.

how would the discounts work?

"Discounts start at $200.

Purchase $200 to $300 and receive a $20 store credit towards an additional item on the same order.
$300 to $400 and receive 8% off or a $40 store credit towards an additional item on the same order.
$400 to $500 and receive 10% off or a $60 store credit towards an additional item on the same order.

Thurge, I thought the same thing but the info I get there is very confusing. I don't want to receive a boring pistol shrimp instead of the red banded pistol they sell for $21.

On the fish page it says "Yasha Goby 1.5" $50 $120 pair w/shrimp $60"

Then on the inverts page it says "Yasha Goby & Pistol Shrimp Pair $80"

Right after that it says "Red Pistol Shrimp This pistol shrimp readily pairs up with most prawn gobies. 3/4"-$21.00"

I thought maybe they pair it up with a regular pistol for $60 and I didn't quite understand why they are selling the individual items cheaper than the pair combo price unless it is to remove all doubt of them pairing up for another $9.

I considered emailing them and asking but thought it would be easier to just order the items I really wanted for the prices listed instead of causing more confusion.

If anyone can decipher this and knows for sure what they are selling for the $60 It would help me make a choice.

I am going with free shipping, otherwise the free-be would go to who? The problem with doing it at the next meeting is that is a long ways away and the things we want now will most likely not be available 3-weeks to a month from now. Plus the more expensive (LE) things will not apply. If you have driving issues see my note to you individually below.

Purplereef/Dan--I have you down for a Paletta Blue. I want one also, but if they are limited you get first dibbs.

I am ordering the unknown blue-tip deepwater and Palletta blue (assuming there is enough for me and Dan) Puts me at ---$140

itZme--I am fairly new to the area so I do not know where west-salem is. If it is within reason I can work with you on meeting you, I would hate to leave you out just due too driving inconeviniences (sp?), we can make it work for you. Also I will talk to them about the cheaper deal for buying the fish/shrimp in a pair.

Mercedes/Ken--We are now at $500, start looking at clams :).

Thurge--It would be GREAT if you could pick-up at Fed-Ex store, I will talk to you in pm when I am about to send the order.
