ATO 5017 Metering Pump Issue

Roger,

My metering pump has been acting up and is no longer reliable. It has been in service for about 6 months and has never been run dry. It only runs half the time. It's almost as if it loses prime and stops spinning and pushing water.

Please advise on a replacement as it should be under warranty.

Do you hear a motor noise but no water is pumping? Have you tried just tipping it upside down while submerged in the reservoir to purge out any trapped air? If this does not work, email me a photo of the pump showing the impeller through the hole in the base and a copy of the invoice- Tunze at sbcglobal dot net
