AWESOME! I got the ATO working with the apex now. This is the language I used and so far it appears it is working

Fallback OFF
Set OFF
If Switch1 CLOSED Then ON
If Switch2 OPEN Then OFF
Defer 002:00 Then ON
Min Time 010:00 Then OFF

I found the 8 pin mini din on ebay, nice because its one less black box in my little cabinet and much cheaper. I run ato through a rodi type canister with nothing but some kalk in it. (My ato is controlled by a 12v solenoid and comes direct from RODI, no reservoir) I time it to run at night ever hour for a few minutes. Use the apex graphs to spot when your pH starts dropping off every night and tell Apex to start the top offs then. Buffers against pH drops at night.

No, he told it not to come back on unless 10 minutes has passed. The minimum time it must be off.
