I want to use this thread to showcase some of my corals. I love to photograph them and see them grow. Sometimes I will like to show a gem from time to time. And sometimes, I would like to try to identify them. This thread will be pic heavy... seriously pic heavy!

very good lookin corals! do you happen to know what the coral is above the superman digitada with the blue polyps and yellow tips. i picked up a small colony of that about 6 months ago. no namer?

Thank you. The thing is growing on a pvc. Its funny how it can encrust anything it touches. So I gave it a pvc pipe

Its a Nikon D70s using a Nikkor 18-70mm lens. It does take a bit of practicing using your own camera, but eventually you can get the shots.

That one is called Acropora austera. I gave it a name Purple Polyp Austera. I am not big on fruity names.

Hahaha. And vice versa. I have a soft heart for some nice ORA corals, but you know how hard it is to have them here. Stupid permits. That speciosa will be a killer because a lot of people don't realize how cool it grows.

Thank you. I will eventually get around to a full tank shot. It is 6 feet long, so it is a tad difficult to get everyone in the group photo.

Working on one.. Its hard when its 6 feet in lenght, and the corals are still somewhat small.
