Attaching Sponges

I just picked up a blue vase sponge tonite. I thought it was already attached to a rock, but it was cut free and is just the sponge. Do I attach it to LR the same way I would corals(superglue)?

Nope, that will usually kill it. You can take a needle and thread and tie it to a rock until it attaches or skewer it with some toothpicks and glue the toothpicks to the rock.
