After 24 hours, she showed no aggression to the male clown in the ball. So, I released him. War immediately followed. She had him by his left peck at one point and I thought she would rip it off. So I broke it up and placed him back in the ball. He appears to be fine. So I called the LFS to see if they had large GSM clowns. They had 2 that had some gold on the front stripe. So I traded my female for the larger female. After a few hours, it looks like they are pairing. She is not being aggressive, and he is doing the shiver and displaying his belly in submission. Hope this works out.
