Attention hoodless Nano Cube owners!i gotta question

Hey all who have a hoodless Nano Cube.What lights are u running?How much do u have to top off ur water a day?Should i just keep my hood and uprgrade the lighting?Is it really worth going hoodless?

i use a Coralife mini-hood. 2-9w bulbs one is an actinic the other is a 10,00K. this is mounted on a 3 gallon pico reef. gives 5w per gallon and coralline and purple gorgonian are doing geat. i paid $29.99 for it and i feelit was worth every penny.
