what would you consider the min. wattage and # of bulbs over a 20g tank to keep a single squamosa or derasa? How mature should the tank be? other care?

I have one crocea in my 29 Gallon, with Aquactinics TX5 lighting.
My question is:
Do I need to raise the clam from the sand and put in on rocks?
It's been in the sand for about 30 days now, and I was told that it'd need to be closer to the lights (about 18" away from 5 bulbs). And now I'm wondering if the mantle is open far enough cause it's ingrained in my brain that I need to raise it...

Can anyone give me a cool "this thread is worthless without pictures" banner?

Thanks firefishie, I put him up halfway in the tank last night.
We'll see if he attaches in a day or two.
So I put the dude midway up the tank and 4 days later he's leaning to the side (mantle is verticle). He still opens up but I can't tell if he wants to go higher or lower.
Cmon man, talk to me, which way do you want to go!!!!
