im sorry to say this...but it looks like our shipment will be postponded to a later date....im actually a little ticked because they weren't clear as to what they wanted me to do

i received a call this morning....and apparently i didnt fill out the excel sheet according to their specs....they didnt even mentioned that i HAD to use an THEIR excel format.....yea, i did make my own format cause it was easier for me and more accurate....so got an email, saying that they couldnt use that....so late last nite...i received a their excel format...transferred over my data to how they wanted it (atleast what i thought)....their spreadsheet is fairly large so i decided to delete a few columns and rows that were not used on the order....in the thought of making it easier for their packers/shippers.....and apparently, i can't list our names/screennames above the things we ordered, when there's a spot that says "NAMES".....and they didnt even have one of the items listed ...which was CJ's orange legged hermits...so i added a row for that....instead, i was supposed to know to put the letter "O" in the scarlett hermit section.....last time i check, isnt scarlett the color of red/maroon?

i honestly thought that my order went with no confusion whatsoever....even without the excel file...i specifically stated this in the comment section...with the bagging format of what i was told to do in the comment section...eveything else should be bagged as they were ordered

All in all though, im ticked.....they could have processed the order according the COMMENT SECTION alone..anyone who is allowed to work by law should comprehend what i was doing and what was needed to complete the process...the excel sheet wasnt even really needed...and they were even ticked that i put "hold at fedex location" in the comment section...i was supposed to put that as the shipping info....but i told her (shannon), that fedex is not my house shipping address...i thought i need to put my house address

With that said...im not completely mad at them...as i will probably order from them in the future...cause their prices and communication is unbeatable...i just needed to blow off some steam
 
So we need to decide on a new delivery date ...since tomorrow will not be happening

how does this friday sound for everyone?....but pickups will need to happen before 2pm (it can be later too, but i would just need to know an exact time)......or next wednesday, anytime......and mikey,cczarnik you guys can still meet me at the fedex location...on which ever day we decide on

John, they might use the spreadsheet as a feed for some type of import that they do in their order system. Thus our changes to simplify could royally screw up their data import.

So are you saying that the order is postponed indefinitely or will it go as soon as we get the order in per instructions?

i understand that they might import that in their ordering system....but they didnt really even needed the excel....they "preferred" to have 2 list to work from....ive already adjusted the excel to their specs....all they had to do was recrop everything back in..and delete our names....anyone that has worked in excel should be able to do that in a few minutes...i deleted the unncessary rows because of the big amount of white space.....i didnt want to accidently insert a quantity amount in the wrong item....you get the idea......its not that hard

so yea, is everyone good for this Friday since chuck needs it before springbreak?
 
Friday will work for me.. I should have mentioned this to you..since i have done 3 group orders from them. They are specific and I had to do the same thing...I honestly thought they would tell you that over the phone ..anyways..
 
right CJ?!?!....and instead of calling me at 7 THIS morning....they could have contacted me first thing yesterday if there was a problem, or if thre was something else that they needed....not on the day of the shipping date...atleast i know what to do now for next time

so it looks like friday will be the better day so far
 
Yeah... I thought about mentioning something as well, John... but I thought you knew. On their website it says to email or call them about group orders then they send you an email with the specific instructions. Sorry bro... I thought you knew and didn't want to offend you or anything. :)

Oh, and Friday works perfectly fine for me. I'll have to pick up in the evening, though, unless I take off from work in the morning.

well...since its fine by a majority of us...i'll give them the go ahead for a shipment on friday....for the folks that i have heard back from...i hope that is ok with you guys

oh yea...and they need to really learn about internet ettiquette....typing in ALL CAPS MAKES YOU SOUND LIKE YOUR SCREAMING OR MAD.....ive been nothing but nice with them, and havent said anything that ive said here to them....seems to me that they are making a big deal out of almost nothing.....oh well...they'll get over it
 
IF we're doing it this Friday, it has to be 9am sharp for me, otherwise I'll be out as well.....Cause I have to work til late that night and I don't feel like messing with the tanks after getting home close to 11pm or so.
 
John, Friday will work if evening is okay. I can call ahead when I get done with work and see what time works for you. THANKS for organizing all this. (sorry for shouting)
