Here is tank when i first set it up.

And here it is today.

I am using a Tek 24" T5 unit. I really like it. I'm running 2 ATI Aquablue specials and 2 Blue+. The color is A+.

I run a simple set-up. Just a filter sock and passive carbon (til i get a phosban reactor). We'll see if i need to get a skimmer in a few months.

A simple clip on fan for cooling and that's about it.

are those pics an accurate representation of the colors? I'm thinking about getting the Tek fixture for my solana, but I'm not sure about the depth/color combo.

I'd say the pics are a close match. Mine are a little washed out. The Tek unit is awesome. I was really surprised at how bright it was. And those ATI bulbs are killer. Thanks for the compliment. The tank needs a little time.
