aussie corals

On a lot of the coral threads i.e. zoa, lps forums I have seen people displaying a lot of aussie corals. I was curious if anyone in the club has seen any at a LFS or has any to show themselves? I'd really like an aussie elegance.

thanks,
jess

Jess I believe i saw some really nice elegance at RL. I had one aussie that I got in and lasted more than others about 3 months.
They just seem to do poor in transport and collection.
Anyways one of my favs corals of all time.

i saw some zoas at a store in miami that i think may have been aussie, based on price and color. I have never seen anything like them but they where to steep for my pockets on that day.

the acans are pretty awesome i'm definately in the market for a few frags.

reef aquariums on us 1 and maybe 128 st. not a great store but i was driving around town and stopped by. they where 50-75 dollar range. not that expensive by any means.

not outrageous colors, more along the lines of unusual.

Hey Jess if you find any Aussie Acan frags, or you get a colony and frag it let me know...
Fraggle Reef dot com has some...

hey jess one of my buddies has tons of aussie acans he's not much of a fragger but perhaps i can persuade him to give me a few. last i saw his tank he had about 5 different kinds.
Anyways next time I'm over i'll try my luck and pass them on to u at retail LOL
Sorry I meant to say wholesale.:D

A lot of people are calling things Aussie corals lately and I would be careful about paying good money for something unless you can find out for sure its an aussie coral.
Ever since lords starting coming out of australia this spring, I've noticed a bunch of people starting to call lots of other regular corals "aussie" just so they can get a higher price.
There are some really beautiful true aussie lords on the market now, but there are also many nice indo lords that can be passed off as aussie too. So caveat emptor!
