Can anyone ID this coral, its has large raised corallites that are quite distinctly independent of each other like galaxea. Then on the side of each polyp are smaller corallites.

Two i have looked at,

Flesh looks like alveopora but skeletal is nothing like it. I looked at all the galexea sp and none have the same smaller corallites off the main ones?

I know you said the skeleton is not like an alveopora but does it look like encrusting gonipora? They have a very different skeleton. Idk if it is close but hey Google is our friend. Or maybe a cyphasteria?? Long shot I know but kinda like the hulk cyphasteria... With the polyp setup those are my GUESSES. GL

Googled them both dont near match the skelletal. Away from the farm but when back will try get some pics to better demonstrate the detail.

Pretty sure this is now galexea, it was bought from a mariculture operation. The odd polyps budding on the sides of the main polyps seem to be as a result from the fragging from the main colony causing it to grow in new directions.
