Metallic BRIGHT red; the brightness puts my other micros to shame.

@atomic: tried, i was unlucky with the search and came up with zero hits. maybe i am typing it wrong...i've been typing "aussie micro", "australian micro"

@grisha: wow, those are slick!! where'd you get them from if you don't mind me asking.

@icu2: very nice!!

Excuse my ignorance, but what's an " Aussie micro".
They look similar to my Acans, but where does the micro come into it??

Here is my Aussie Rainbow Micromussa from Miguel. Just got it in a few days ago so still adjusting. The color on this is Amazing!!!

Here's a sneak peek if you can see it. Sorry my light is out and it's kinda dark in the pic. I'll take another pic tomorrow when my lights turn on.

I'm not seeing how the ones posted are micros and not a. lord other than possibly going by a vendor's ID? Would be interested in how the ID is being made...just curious, b/c I'm not seeing it.

These polyps are a lot smaller than my small acan lords. Yes they look like aussie acan lords in the pics but when you see them in person they are micos. You can see in the pic my acan lords around the rainbow micromussa in the middle. They are the size of my other micromussa's.

thanks for sharing hypertek....so we're basing it on polyp size? Heck, I guess my confusion goes even to pre-aussie days when I did find it easier to pick a micromussa out of a lineup rather easily based on the growth of the flesh, but really struggling with the ID thing since aussie. Is there a skeletal variation as far as one knows from pieces that have receded or died? nice stuff btw. :)

I always determined micros and acans by polyp sizes. But i guess to really find out if they are indeed acans or micros you will have to get the skeletons. But since they are so small and if you see it in person you would say it's micromussas.
